about us

In Finnish, koti means home. And home, to us, is not a place — it's a feeling.

That's what we want to inspire: the ease, the release, and the warmth of belonging. Not another wellness experience asking you to optimize, just an inclusive ritual, made by the community and for the community.

This is a collective practice stripped back to its basics: show up without pretension, be present in your body, and be open to the people around you. Because collective wellness builds collective strength — and heat has a way of dissolving everything else. The rank, the roles, and the performance of everyday life.

Here, you'll find a routine that gives you permission to pause. No performing, just being.

Maybe you come for the heat. Maybe you come for the people. Maybe you come to find your way back to yourself.

Whatever your reason for joining us, this is your space to sweat and reset.

Welcome to Kotisauna.

how we work

Kotisauna is a social enterprise built by the community, for the community. A practice designed so access and cultural authenticity and community investment drives every decision. Every revenue stream feeds the mission of lower session costs, broader access, and a permanent home for sauna as public infrastructure.

This project has been shaped by the people who showed up, supported, and kept the fire going. It has grown into a pilot for public social infrastructure, making the case that accessible, communal space in nature isn't a luxury — it's a necessity.

Thank you to our partners, whose support is helping to make sauna ritual part of the fabric of everyday public life in Toronto.
